My vehicle broke down right out in front of this auto dealership/repair shop. One of the mechanics came across the street and offer to help. He told me he knew exactly what it was that was Wrong he could repair it for $300. I asked him when he could start the repair and he said that weekend. This was September 1, 2016. I paid the man $300 upfront to start the job. However I started getting the excuses one after the other that he had a couple more cars ahead of mine. So week after week I would text him and I would call him rarely get them responses. January 23 2017 I stopped at the garage as I had had enough. The owner explain to me that he did not know who's vehicle it was at the gentleman who took the money was imprisoned. He then informed me he knew what the problem was that it needed a new motor. I paid the owner $900 upfront to start the job. He two informed me that he would have the job completed that weekend, this in January 2017. However it is May 22, 2017 and I've still yet to get my automobile . Upon stopping to inquire as to why my vehicle was not ready it was then I also noticed that I had auto Mobile damage on my front fenders of both sides of my truck and also the rear box. The owner of the shop stated that that was the way that they received it, however it was not. I would highly recommend the anybody and everybody stay away from alive auto sales in Rensselaer New York!!! I feel bad for the owner but it seems that any job he takes on he's over his head. One last note I got a call from him Two weeks ago if I could please bring over another $200 so he may pay the gentleman who helped work on my truck, and of course I did because I thought they were making headway.
