Food was great, staff friendly and attentive. Place feels like it's been there forever (probably has), and is the only real restaurant in Rensselaer.
Don't let the exterior fool you, on the outside, inside is actually very nice and comfortable.
Great food, big variety and very reasonably priced. Everyone who visits from out of town wants to go back. Nice atmosphere although a little loud when busy. Local bar. Worth the trip.

We love the hazelnut crusted chicken - always delicious and such a beautiful presentation with Mandarin oranges and a swirl of smashed potatoes! The salmon was delicious tonight, too.
Great food but they really need to replace the air vents with ones that can open and close. It’s always freezing and the chairs and tables around the walls are positioned directly on top of them.
Gives the feel of a neighborhood Tavern... but actually upscale quality local ingredients make this a fine dining establishment
